Scope of project:

  • Office Development at Fountainbridge, Edinburgh comprising new office accommodation
  • Provided in two separate 4/5 storey buildings of varying floor plates linked by basement car parking, communal plant and storage facilities
  • Works included demolition and site clearance and the façade retention and reinstatement of the listed masonary elevation
  • As part of the Planning Consent the existing Boardroom panelling and finishes were carefully taken down and reinstated within the new office construction
  • Shell space accommodation for retail purposes was provided in the Ground Floor

Scope of project:

  • Headquarters Building of 700,000sq ft including a 200m long covered street with retail outlets for the enjoyment of the 3,500 staff.
  • A Conference Centre including a 600 seat auditorium
  • A Leisure Building,
  • A staff social building
  • Nursery and Crèche facilities.
  • An iconic bridge provides access to the Estate from the A8 - Edinburgh Road.
  • The Estate has been developed sympathetically in terms of the soft & hard landscaping with several hundred mature trees planted to provide woodland walk areas for the staff.
  • Opened earlier than the Client’s brief and within budget
