• Construction of 7 new build Aldi Stores, 2 Retail Parks and refurbishment of 3 existing retail stores throughout Scotland from Inverness in the North to Newton Stewart in the South
• Continued Roll out programme planned for 2010 - 2012
• Stores typically providing 1125m2 of sales floor with associated warehouse and amenity area
• Based on a standard design, works include the use of Pre-Cast Concrete Ground Beams, non loadbearing Pre-Cast Concrete Panels with a steel frame. Fit out to warehouse and sales floor
• Loading bay doors and dock levellers, signage, refrigeration, chest freezers and dairy cabinets

• Refurbishment of 20 retail outlets in 2009 throughout Scotland from Beauly in the North to various stores in the Central Belt
• Continued refurbishment planned for 2010
• Works include fit out of existing sales floor together with the upgrading of back house areas including storage, office and staff areas
• Shopfronts and entrances are upgraded including new signage
• Lighting power and water services are improved as required
• New freezers, chillers, cold rooms, counters, gondolas, display shelving and CCTV are provided as required

• New build 350,000 ft sq shopping centre on the site of the old Fremlins Brewery.
  Extensive demolition, major road diversions, construction of retail unit within an open streetscape
• Associated landscaping and street furniture, construction of anchor store with underground 800 space multi story car park and underground service yard.

Assisting the main contractor in preparation of lump sum tender including value engineering and risk management.
Valuation and agreement of all variations post contract.
Assistance in agreement of final account on behalf of main contractor.

Scope of project:

• Pre acquisition survey and liaison with Developers Project Team on hand-over of retail shell unit.
• Client advice and liaison in regards to fit-out works on matters of Statutory Consents (Planning, Listed Building and Building Regulations Approvals), Landlords Approval and general project execution.
