Project Description
The scheme comprises of the demolition of the existing commercial office building, which will allow for a new and efficient office space to be constructed in its place.
The building will be erected using a mixture of reinforced concrete and steel framing and will be extended to the rear and above with an additional two storeys added on top of the current building’s massing. The finished scheme will provide circa 90,000 sqft of prime Category A net lettable office space to take to market.
The office space is designed to the highest standard and will provide a space that works with the materials used within the construction allowing for exposed concrete slabs and services internally to compliment the external warehouse feel of the building.
Doig+Smith have been working closely with the client in formulating a split package procurement strategy that allows efficiencies in the programming which will leading to the completed building handed back to the client in early 2019.
